Alma is easy to configure and make changes. Ex Libris provides excellent product and training documentation. We migrated a small MEC collection (Multimodal Education Center) from Follett Destiny to Alma on our own. We are generally satisfied with Alma. However, Primo has some critical issues with EBSCO databases such as for articles, it shows full text available but actually not available.

We harvested our local digital repository bepress Digital Commons database and LibGuides Research Guides to Primo. We developed a local stack map app to show items locations. We implemented a “send via text message” feature in Primo to send items information to patrons’ mobile devices. We used Alma API in several projects such as MultiModal Education Center (MEC) collection migration. We integrated Alma with PeopleSoft for patron Load and Bursar Transfer. We implemented EDI and YBP shelf ready process with YBP GOBI API. We implemented Shibboleth single sign-on authentication.  We implemented a selfchek station at MEC library.
We also implemented Shibboleth integration with EzProxy for ILLiad Interlibrary Loan authentication.
