Journal of Chemical Physics (JCP)创刊于1933年,由美国物理联合会出版,现任主编为美国国家科学院院士、宾夕法尼亚大学教授Marsha I. Lester。JCP为周刊,每年出版48期,报道化学物理领域方法和应用研究的最新进展,内容涵盖传统化学物理领域如光谱学、动力学、统计力学、量子力学,以及高分子、材料、表面/界面、生物体系等领域中与化学物理相关的理论和实验研究。JCP是公认的著名学术期刊,发表了很多化学物理和理论化学领域的重要成果。例如Marcus电子转移理论(1992年诺贝尔化学奖),以及李远哲(1986年诺贝尔化学奖)、John Pople(1998年诺贝尔化学奖)、Gerhard Ertl(2007年诺贝尔化学奖)、Arieh Warshel(2013年诺贝尔化学奖)等专家的重要工作都曾发表于JCP。(以上信息来源于基金委http://www.nsfc.gov.cn/publish/portal0/tab434/info68548.htm)
