I almost ran out of questions to ask. Still, this is my first one-hour-long one-to-one class, and I was not about to cancel it. (It's more difficult to sign up for one-hour one-to-one class, so I had only 30-min classes before today. If the trainer starts late and each class ends 5-min earlier, a 30-min class is often too short.)
I asked my trainer to show me Mac's versions of Word, ppt, and xlsx. Then, I realized that he didn't know much about these tools, because he is a trainer for new users. At that point, I asked him to show me some tricks. Here are the two new ones I learned today.
1. Command + space bar: This will bring up Spotlight (like the "Find" in PC). Then, if you type "wo," it will start to look for files that are Word, etc. Type "pdf," and it will look for pdf files.
2. To shutdown the Mac quickly, use "ctl"+"alt"+Commend (using your left hand) plus the "Eject" button at the top right corner (for new Mac).
