One of the things people do before Christmas is to buy gifts
for families and friends. Some people feel it's a burden, or even waste of
money. Well, my attitude is if you can’t beat it (such as in this case),
(en)join it!
I tried to find things "useful." So, on my last-minute gift list are
fancy tea and B&N gift card, among others.
This year, I discovered Aveeno's Intense Relief Hand Cream, and loved it. So,
it's on my gift list. (Hey, women still do most of the cleaning and washing at
home. So, hand cream is a must!)
Another thing I gave this year is freshly roasted chestnuts. Yeah, I know they
don't last, so I don't even wrap them. It's the thought that counts. Right?
So, what I have gotten so far for this year's Christmas? I have received gift
card, nuts, home-made snacks, jams, book, kitchenware, and saffron! More gifts
are expected, since we are going to a lunch gathering and a Christmas
dinner--our Christmas tradition for nearly 10 years!
