If you live in Honolulu, you must have visited Shirokiya many times already.

To me, it’s the best place to get things that are made in
Japan, from Tianjin roasted chestnuts (yeah, they call all chestnuts "Tianjin chestnuts" for some reason) to Yoku Moku (fancy cookies).
I spent the first two weeks of December in China this year. By the time I came home, I was late for getting Christmas gifts for my friends and relatives. So, I headed to Shirokiya, once, twice, and three times. The rest will come from the Kahala Mall, which is right across from the street from me.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!
