As soon as you sit down for a meal in France, you notice the
French napkins are different from the American's.
Some are very fancy, and thick as cloth ones. Often, the color is black. At
least, I have NOT used a white napkin so far, nor cloth ones. My first reaction
was what a burden on the environment. Wait, am I wrong? I think the white paper
is bleached, which is not environment friendly, either.
