Want good moon cakes in Honolulu, go to Elvin's

Elvin's Bakery is in the same shopping plaza as the Palama's (Korean supermarket) on Dillingham Blvd. That's probably how I "discovered" the bakery. Every time I am nearby, I would go get some pineapple buns for my son and myself, a taste I developed from living in Hangzhou and Guangzhou.

Elvin's has fancy cakes, too. Of course, they are not cheap, but that's good for weight watching because I would buy a slice, instead a whole cake.

Since last year, I have been going there for freshly made moon cakes. They are as good as those from Hong Kong. Trust me.
