小孩食物过敏与肠道微生物

研究目的:Our objective was to determine whether gut microbial composition was associatedwith food sensitization and allergy and whether these associations might be along the causalpathway for food allergy or explained by other environmental exposures.


研究样本:Complete data were available for 225 children; there were 87 cases of foodsensitization and 14 cases of food allergy.


研究策略:Intestinal microbiome samples were collected at age 3-6 months.

研究结论:

   1)Microbial diversity measures did not differbetween food sensitization and food allergy cases and controls.

   2)The genera Haemophilus(log2 fold change -2.15, p=0.003), Dialister (log2 fold change -2.22, p=0.009), Dorea (log2fold change -1.65, p=0.02) and Clostridium (log2 fold change -1.47, p=0.002) were under represented among subjects with food sensitization.

   3)The genera Citrobacter (log2 foldchange -3.41, p=0.03), Oscillospira (log2 fold change -2.80, p=0.03), Lactococcus (log2 foldchange -3.19, p=0.05) and Dorea (log2 fold change -3.00, p=0.05) were under represented among subjects with food allergy.


个人理解:

   1)此文对比食物过敏和非过敏小孩在3-6个月的肠道微生物变化,基于此未来有可能利用3-6个月孩子的肠道微生物预测食物过敏的可能性;

   2)未来需要完善之处:针对不同食物过敏的孩子,肠道微生物在早期分别有何种特点,如此更精准地实现食物过敏的预测。

   3)另外比对比较过敏和非过敏孩子在当下阶段肠道微生物的特点,寻找是否可以从肠道微生物调节进而改善食物过敏症状。
