The American Welding Society (AWS) and The International Thermal Spray Association (ITSA) announce their second Thermal Spray Conference at Fabtech 2010. This one-day event is intended to introduce the thermal spray process and its uses to new potential users with morning and afternoon sessions focusing on actual applications and new developments in thermal spray technology.
AWS and ITSA 2010 Program Organizers invite you to submit your work for consideration of inclusion in the technical program. They are accepting 150-200-word abstracts describing original, previously unpublished work. Topical areas suggested for presentation include the following thermal spray/surface engineering topics:
- Applications
- Processes
- Coatings
- Spray equipment
- Ancillary equipment
- Automation
- Sensors and controls
- Safety
In order to maintain the high level of technical quality and integrity of the AWS ITSA joint conference, no paper may commercially promote specific products or service providers.
To submit your work for consideration, click here and then follow the instructions. All abstracts submissions must be completed by close-of-business on Friday, July 30, 2010. Before submitting your abstract, we ask that you carefully consider your ability to present your work at the conference. Speakers are required to pay a (reduced) conference registration fee, and are totally responsible for their travel, housing and any related expenses.
