今年6月,全球25名基因研究领域的科学家联名在《科学》杂志上宣布,今年内将启动“人类基因组编写计划”,目标包括在10年内合成一个完整的人类基因组。
“我们希望更好地了解人类基因组,并推动基因编辑和合成技术的发展。”30岁的中国学者杨璐菡对新华社记者说。她是“人类基因组编写计划”最年轻的发起人之一,目前在哈佛大学从事基因研究。
全球最流行的“基因剪刀”是2013年兴起的CRISPR-Cas9技术,主要发明者之一是出生在石家庄的美籍华人科学家张峰。
