国家自然科学基金委员会在官方网站上发布了《非可控性炎症恶性转化的调控网络及其分子机制重大研究计划》。指南提出,将继续开展原有项目负责人之间的集成研究,申请书应突出在前期研究中已取得的突破性进展、且明确体现学科交叉和调控网络分子机制的特色。2016 年度不资助与整合计划联系不紧密的项目申请,包括:单个分子(蛋白、基因)的机制研究,单纯的流行病学研究,无明确的从炎症向肿瘤恶性转化疾病过程的肿瘤研究,单纯的药物干预与药理学研究,以及其研究内容已有相关其他科技项目支持的项目等。根据项目指南,在原有资助项目的基础上,2016 年度计划资助直接费用 1000 万元。拟资助「集成项目」5-6 项,直接费用的平均资助强度不超过 200 万元 / 项;个别有特色的研究工作可作为「培育项目」支持,直接费用的平均资助强度不超过 100 万元 / 项。「集成项目」和「培育项目」的资助期限均为 2 年。
