科学网博友罗广营老师提出的研究课题“父母糖尿病是否后代有患眼疾病的风险?”的信息检索分析要求,我在PUBMED数据库中检索到相关文献11篇,从研究文献报道看到父母糖尿病后代患眼疾病的风险是存在的。
其中有3篇论文研究了父母糖尿病与后代弥漫性毒性甲状腺肿(Graves' disease、Template:Flajani-Basedow-Graves disease)的关系,因产生针对TSH受体的自身抗体而导致弥漫性甲状腺肿大、甲状腺毒症以及相关眼征、皮肤损害等的一种自身免疫性疾病。由于弥漫性甲状腺肿大和甲状腺毒症共存,故名“弥漫性毒性甲状腺肿”。

父母亲都是糖尿病患者,其子女约有5%会患糖尿病,若父母亲中只有一方有糖尿病,则子女得病的机会更少。
