英国伦敦帝国理工学院紧急组织了一个科研组,用来研究甲型H1N1流感病毒发生的基因突变,是否能导致疫苗对其失去作用。
资深的政府部门科学家已经发现H1N1病毒发生的轻微基因突变。他们正在研究这种变异是不是导致一些感染患者病情更严重的原因,不过,目前还没有证据显示甲型H1N1流感病毒的这些变化会导致疫苗失去作用,或妨碍抗病毒药物特敏福生效。从10月到现在,已经有45人死于甲型H1N1流感。
