当研究人员敲除DSCC1基因时,基因组不稳定性的增加最为显著,异常微核形成增加了5倍。缺乏该基因的小鼠反映出类似于人类黏性疾病患者的特征,进一步强调了该研究与人类健康的相关性。
通过CRISPR筛选,研究人员发现DSCC1缺失引发的这种效应可以通过抑制蛋白SIRT1部分逆转。这为开发新疗法提供了一条非常有希望的途径。
