Craig C. Mello is the winner of the 2006 Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine. Professor of molecular medicine, School of medicine, University of Massachusetts, USA. In 2006, he won the 2006 Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine for his discovery of RNA interference with Andrew Farr, Professor of pathology and genetics at Stanford medical school.
