昨天说我为费老师的最长丝线感到疑惑,原因有两点:
第一,从语言说,那儿没必要最高级,所以用了最高级就应该“别有用心”。当然,这还可以找一个理由:费老本来就不讲究怎么写——确实,他没认真写过一本书,很多名作都是根据录音整理的——昨天说的那本小书,是七个演讲的稿子,那句话是第一个演讲的最后一句。也许他就是随便那么一说,我过敏了。
第二,从物理学说,自然“只”讲究“最小作用”——这可是费老喜欢的东西——那么,她用的丝线似乎也该是最短的,用最短的线绣最多的花儿,才显她的功夫呀!何况我们都知道,没有“最长”,只有“更长”。费老忘了么?
在追寻自然的丝线时,偶然看到有人用丝线来比喻人生(Steve Brunkhorst,好像是一个人生规划老师,写过很多关于成长和人生的文章)——

这个比喻我第一次见,很有趣。人生面临无限多种选择,所以这儿不说丝线的短长了——巧的很,无限多的路径正是费老师的思想。但是,能不能反过来以如此的人生观来看自然呢?“她”是不是要无限多条丝线来绣一幅画呢?我想不能。有时候,多等于无。
