今天在港大聆听了李焯芬院士的讲座

今天下午，李焯芬院士在香港大学用英文做了“香港工程师学会四十周年卓越工程讲座”。讲座题目是《“一带一路”的前世今生– 从陆上丝绸路到海上丝路》。

我聆听了这场讲座，深受教育。李院士演示和讲解了百多张历史图画和照片。李院士带着200多听众，回展了3000年来的欧亚大陆上不同民族的商贸、文化、宗教的历史和交流。我感受到了时空演变的精妙绝伦。特别是，祖先们创造了丝绸、瓷器和茶叶，用它们同中东、欧洲各地人民进行贸易和交流。同时，他们大量利用和吸收贸易各国的商品、植物和文化。

李院士指出，今天国家提出的“一带一路”发展策略，将是一次基建带动可达百年的发展机遇。沿线70多个国家，将会有大量现代人创造的奇迹、惊喜和千万个有趣的故事。他用英文写道：“Rejuvenation of the Silk Road, both on land and on sea, has been proposed for the future development of Asia, specifically to promote economic development of Asian nations through infrastructure projects such as highways, high-speed railways, ports, power plants, tele-communication systems, to be funded by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (and possibly other means of project financing), and promote free trade, economic co-operation, cultural exchanges, peace and harmony among Asian nations and the rest of the world.

真可谓，漫长历史都是人做出来的，历史精华却是人讲出来的！

在座位上90分钟的聆听，真正地享受了一场优美的精神盛宴。
