电子理论对话-13:棱形结构和空间群表示约化
余瑞璜EET电子理论的等同键数目(Iα=IM×IS×IK),是其理论的一个专有概念,具有明确的物理内涵,就是为了清点晶体空间中的化学键。
那种持不约化观点的人,对下面的例子就会无所适从。
Fe2O3是一种典型的晶体,空间群为No.176。
176空间群可以选择Hexagonal axes坐标系,对应的原子坐标如下:
12c-Fe和18e-O;
176空间群也可以选择Rhombohedral axes坐标系,对应的原子坐标如下:
4c-Fe和6e-O;
对于前者,不约化观点者取:
IM=12,对于Fe;IM=18,对于O;
对于后者,不约化观点者取:
IM=4,对于Fe;IM=6,对于O;
显然,两种取法的结果相差3倍!
请问持不约化观点者,对于Fe2O3晶体,其等同键数目究竟等于多少?
余瑞璜的EET电子理论,其计算结果和参照坐标系的选择是没有关系的。
如果把空间群表达式约化到化学式,就会得到相同的结果。
对于Hexagonal axes坐标系:
空间群表达式=12Fe(12c-Fe)18O(18e-O),约化到化学式,
Fe2O3=2Fe3O=2Fe(12c-Fe)3(18e-O),得到
IM=2,对于Fe;IM=3,对于O.
对于Rhombohedral axes坐标系:
空间群表达式=4Fe(4c-Fe)6O(6e-O),约化到化学式,就是
Fe2O3=2Fe3O=2Fe(4c-Fe)3O(6e-O)
IM=2,对于Fe;IM=3,对于O.
由此可见,只有把空间群表达式约化到化学式才能使两种情况相等。
凡是没有进行约化的,都是错误的,不符合余瑞璜EET的思想体系。
