论文署名作者越多,论文质量越低

质量决定水平。

然而流行时髦(可能不是H1N1流行感冒)的做法是标记(评价)论文的水平,而不是标记(评价)论文的质量。

什么是水平?

最省力的做法,也是最盲目的做法就是根据刊物来评价论文的水平,这就是拜刊物忽悠水平教派,这个科学教派是非常强大的。

 

根据论文本身来评估论文的质量,这是正本清源的做法。

评估论文质量,究竟如何来操作,这是个技术层面的问题,真正想搞也不难。

 

上次本博主评估了余瑞璜先生(三个作者)发表在《中国科学》的文章,存在严重问题,因为把Nd2Fe14B的键络数据搞错了,从而影响到以后真正的EET计算,究竟他们三个作者是如何分工的,这俺就不知道了。但是,那文章署名了3个人,白纸黑字,这是事实。

本文评估余瑞璜先生独自发表的一篇文章,白纸黑字,署名了惟一的作者,就是余瑞璜先生自己,如下所示。

 

        两篇文章,一个发表在《中国科学》,一个发表在大学学报。如果按照“水评论”,是前者水平高;如果按照“质量论”,是后者质量高,本博主要给出证据。

Al12Mg17结构属于空间群217号,一个晶胞里有58个原子。

余瑞璜先生给出的Al12Mg17晶体的键络参数如下:

 

余瑞璜先生最大键长取值到d=4.690

如果截取到d=4.690,晶体空间共有15条键,先生的结果也是15条。

如果把先生的结果按照红色数字编号(键长从小到大),和俺用《点群/空间群操作系统》计算的结果完全一样,“完全一样”包含三个指标:

1)  成键的原子种类,例如,24g-Al---24g-Al,就是DAlAl

2)  键长,误差在0.005左右。

3)  配位数,完全一样。

余瑞璜先生自己30年前干的工作,非常漂亮!

结合实际的数据,下面详细地解说余瑞璜先生工作的妙处!

6条键的数据显示,空间配位数和配对配位数是有差别的,余瑞璜先生的处理手法和Herbst J F1991 Rev. Mod. Phys. 63 822)的是一样的。

 

需要提醒的是,等同键数 IaI1×I2×I3,其中

I1从空间群占位结构式取值;

I2从空间配位数(Z)取值;

I3的值规定为:如果是空间群意义上的同种原子成键,I31

              如果是空间群意义上的不同种原子成键,I32

(实际上,应该是按照点群对称性来分类,不过立方晶体不显示区别)

空间群占位表达式为:2a(Mg)8c(Mg)24g(Mg)24g(Al)

约化之后为:1(2a-Mg)4(4c-Mg)12(24g-Mg)12(24g-Al):

I1将从蓝颜色的数字中取值。
