Survive not the lamp and the lute. 不能脱离灯和鲁特琴一样

The heart's echoes render 心的回声再起

No song but sad dirges不能放歌，只有哀婉的挽歌,

Like the wind through a ruined cell, 那声音听上去如同风吹残垣

Or the mournful surges 它又象那悲愤的浪涛

That ring the dead seaman's knell. 它在为死去的水手鸣起丧钟
