I have a dream

   I have a dream, one day the cold spring harbor press would ask me to have a look at my own works to be published in its website instead of sending me a link to ask me to have a look at other people's works.

  It was yesterday when I opened my email, I saw an email sent by the Cold Spring Habor Laboratory, was suggesting me to have a look at some their recent published works on DNA replication, repair and recombination etc. The sender guessed  that I  might be interested by these publications.

  For Sure,  I have indeed been interested by these works as written by some of the most well known figures in the DNA replication feilds, and some of whom that  I have been working with.

  After reading some of these articles carefully, I  found that nothing was new to me, which implied that I have not missed a piece of achievements, most likely it was because that  I have been working in this field for more than 17 years.

   This feeling is some bit of positive, it made me a bit relaxed and comfortable, since I realised that I have not missed a bit of the progresses, however it also remind me almost immediately with a fact that is in the past 17 years what I was doing was just following others, I was just playing a follower's role in the racing.

How sad I was!
