幻觉光学实验“穿墙”方案将在PRL上发表
在经历了某个Magazine上的一番挣扎之后,我们把这个工作投往PRL,文章已被接收,将于近期发表。
其中有一个审稿人很给力,给了以下总结的comments,甚得鼓励!同时也从某种程度上,再次说明了这个领域对于实验工作的强烈呼吁。
In summary, this submission reports a convincing, innovative and robust experimental verification of a transformation optics design using negative index materials. It will be of great interest in the transformation optics community, and more widely in the optics and microwave communities. It far exceeds the more recent standards of PRL, and I very strongly recommend it for publication.

We experimentally demonstrate the first metamaterial "illusion optics" device - an "invisible gateway" by using a transmission-line medium. The device contains an open channel that can block waves at a particular frequency range. We also demonstrate that such a device can work in a broad frequency range.

后记:
酸甜苦辣,难以说清。过程很纠结,结果很洒脱。有的时候,太在意文章的发表出处,反而有点背道而驰,会渐渐失去研究过程中的激情。
很享受和李超、陈老板等的合作,整个过程学到了许多东西!最重要的应该是要勇于面对审稿人万般故意的刁难,迎难而上,千万不可回避。
