Giventhe size of the U.S. population and the number of newspapers published across the country, we found that there is relatively little published about GM food that is informative and substantially about the topic. As the following analysis and case study will confirm, the American consumer has a limited opportunity to learn about food biotechnology from the mass media until an incident results in the death of living organisms.
