下图为论文设计的2x2的子阵,这种排布为顺序旋转排布(sequential rotation arrangement,SRA)可以有效扩展圆极化天线的工作带宽,和极化纯度。
4x4天线结构:
天线方向图,天线主极化为左旋圆极化:
天线工作带宽4-8.5GHz:
相对于天线阻抗带宽,天线的轴比带宽相对较窄(4.8-7.2GHz):
天线在通带范围最高增益可达13dBi
这种结构最早可以追溯到1986年Huang, John.的一篇论文:

近年来也有不断有新的天线结构发表:
