周涛11篇高引论文:Ref.与被引频次负相关
诸平
周涛曾经介绍过自己“6篇引用超过300次的论文”,读后颇受鼓舞,值得佩服。后来也登录了周涛的Google Scholar Homepage,从中得到单篇被引频次在180次以上的11篇论文,看看其参考文献与被引频次之间是否存在显著正相关,其统计结果令人大失所望,无论是线性相关性还是多项式表示的相关性都很差,而且有负相关趋势,详见以下统计图示:

由此可见,将提高被引频次或者期刊因子的希望寄托于增加参考文献数量之上很可能是不切实际的空想,注重论文内在质量,科学合理使用参考文献才是最关键的。
