清华博士叶肖鑫,导师唐国翌撤稿、修改知多少

清华大学深圳研究生院2018年10月21日公布了“叶肖鑫学术不端问题调查处理情况。叶肖鑫于2010年进入清华大学深圳研究生院攻读材料科学与工程专业博士学位,2015年7月毕业并获清华大学博士学位,指导教师为清华大学深圳研究生院新材料研究所唐国翌教授。就在叶肖鑫博士毕业前夕,他获得了2015年清华大学第20届“学术新秀”提名表彰6月6日,清华大学第20届学术新秀颁奖典礼暨分享交流会在主楼后厅举行,清华大学深圳研究生院2010级博士生叶肖鑫荣获清华大学“学术新秀”提名表彰。相关报道称:叶肖鑫师从于清华大学研究生院新材料研究所唐国翌教授,五年博士期间,叶肖鑫在唐教授的悉心指导下,充分发挥了科研创新的精神,砥砺前行,勇攀科学高峰,取得了丰硕的科研成果:发表SCI论文18篇,其中第一作者16篇,影响因子总和达38.4(三级学科金属材料领域期刊最高影响因子为3.9),论文被引用次数达83 次,H指数达6,其中有五篇论文被选为期刊当期封面文章;相关研究成果已申请两项国家发明专利和一项实用新型专利。

在读博士期间,叶肖鑫曾先后受邀担任国内外多家知名学术期刊的编辑(Journal of nanomedicine and nanotechnology、Journal of bioengineering and biomedical science和International Journal of Nonferrous Metallurgy等)和审稿人(Material Science & Engineering:C和Journal of materials processing technology等),受邀在本研究领域外场加工纳米晶材料制备的顶级国际会议(ICEFP)、先进材料加工技术的顶级国际会议(AMPT,清华大学A类重点资助国际学术会议)和深港澳台博士生国际学术交流论坛(获得大会特等奖)等多次做口头报告。由于其在新型生物医用钛合金的杰出研究成果,受邀加入International Conference on Green Energy & Expo和Spring World Congress on Engineering and Technology国际学术会议的组织委员会。

科研不息,学术不止。叶肖鑫表示,未来计划从事科研学术工作,并且希望依托高校等研究单位进行基础研究和技术创新类的科研工作,为科技的进步和国家的富强贡献自己的绵薄之力。清华大学“学术新秀”评选作为清华大学最高学术水平的校级奖项之一,在20年的历史中,众多“学术新秀”已经成长为相关学科领域中的学术领头人和科研骨干。可惜叶肖鑫没有!

2016年3月,唐国翌教授收到对叶肖鑫为第一作者所发表论文可能存在学术问题的举报后,立即组织对叶肖鑫就读博士生期间发表的16篇论文进行全面核查,发现存在自我抄袭、图片重复利用、编造实验结果等问题,随即与相关出版机构多次沟通,提出全部撤稿的要求。通过对叶肖鑫博士学位论文的核查,发现同样存在上述问题。经进一步核查,初步判断叶肖鑫存在严重学术不端行为。2017年1月,校学术委员会成立专门工作组进行调查并经学术道德分委员会讨论,认定叶肖鑫存在严重学术不端行为,其导师唐国翌对此负有指导管理方面的责任。2017年4月28日,校学位评定委员会召开全体会议,决定撤销叶肖鑫博士学位,该处理结果在校内进行了公告。2017年6月,清华大学深圳研究生院已经停止了唐国翌教授招收研究生资格,撤销其材料学科负责人和新材料研究所副所长职务,目前其已办理退休手续。其撤稿或者修改稿摘引如下,仅供参考。其中2014年发表的有9篇,2015年3篇,2016年2篇,详见下表。The papers, from a group at the prestigious Tsinghua University, appeared in a variety of materials journals and date back to 2014.
