白色圣诞

过几天就是今年的圣诞节。我自己对过圣诞节没有兴趣。不过不管喜不喜欢过圣诞节，都总会听到圣诞歌曲的旋律。

Bing Crosby（1903.5.2-1977.10.14）演唱的由Irving Berlin（1888.5.11-1989.9.22）创作的《White Christmas》是其中最受人喜欢的一首。这首《白色圣诞》也是被美国艺术与唱片业基金评选为365首“世纪之歌”之首的歌曲。

据Wiki百科上的介绍，Irving Berlin在写出这首歌之后的一大早，就去找他的助手说：

“Grab your pen and take down this song. I just wrote the best song I've ever written — hell, I just wrote the best song that anybody's ever written!”

Berlin弹钢琴只会一个调，所以他写的音乐都必须由助手去写下来，但这并不妨碍他成为20世纪最了不起的美国歌曲旋律和歌词作家，以及音乐剧创作者。他还是美国的那首第二国歌《God bless american》的词曲作者，这首歌相当于我国的《歌唱祖国》。

《White Christmas》这首歌出现在1942年的电影Holiday Inn和1954年的电影White Christmas之中，是由Bing Crosby演唱。Bing Crosby是20世纪最有名的低音歌王和影视明星。据说到目前为止，由Bing Crosby演唱的《White Christmas》的各种唱片已经销售了超过一亿张。
