This is actually a series of TED talks (A TV program which I mentioned in  my previous articles) weaved into an one hour TV show about Science,  Space, Technology, Life, Biology, Art, Music, and Death. Science Net reader  can access the podcasts via http://www.kpbs.org/news/2016/mar/28/ted-talks-science-and-wonder/ . However, unless you are fluent  in English, some of the beauty of the speech will be lost even though the contents are still worthwhile. It was an emotional high for me to receive affirmations for my own life of scientific research and to experience the same wonder as the speakers. I hope someone in China has or can translate these talks into Chinese. Here is an abstract for the program:

Filmed at New York's The Town Hall theater and hosted by best-selling author and comedian Baratunde Thurston, "Science And Wonder” features talks delivered  before a live audience. Each talk examines the riddles of the universe that keep leading  scientists awake at night, taking viewers on amind-blowing journey examining the relationship  between science and art, a lookdeep inside the human body, disappearing landscapes, and the world of Pixar animation as speakers look at the future of nanotechnology,  the science of light, and the rise of genetic manipulation.
