One of the happy by-product of writing blogs on ScienceNet is the interesting  people you meet throughcorrespondence or being fellow bloggers. Years ago I wrote in  these pages about meeting in person with Dr. Hong-Fei Wang http://blog.sciencenet.cn/blog-1565-6301.html.  This thanksgiving 2015, I had the pleasure having dinner with the family (his wife and 8-months old son) of Shao Peng 邵鹏http://blog.sciencenet.cn/u/PhenixInRocky, another well known blogger.
