The first friend I made upon arriving in the US in 1950 was Willian (Billy) Lee. He was similar to me in biological and academic age. I was at MIT and he at Yale. We joined the same Fraternity in the same year and quickly became fast friends. Fast forward some 70+ years, we are both retired and write a blog page for our own amusement/communication with our network of friends and readers. a fellow early board member at The 1990 Institute, " We should actually think more

about how to "Make The World More Safe" instead. 

He reminded me of a 300,000 word book he authored some year ago - 

titled "Chasing Davis". 

For my benefit, he sumarized it with only 29 words. It's quite note worthy !

Teach people how to become compassionate Humanists who 

think that peace is better than plenty, less is more, and tolerance 

of others does not include acquiescence to harmful behaviors.
