The Big FreezeFor the past two days, large part of the US, the MidWest and the NorthEast, were experiencing record severe cold temperature due a polar vortex descending from the Artic. On the same day, the whole country was experiencing temperature difference of 120 degrees Fahrenheit, and at the same location difference of temperature of 98 degrees in a few days. Many public service, such as postal and package delivery, public transportation, came to a stop. People froze to death. Our friend in the South call us up to find out how we are coping. Yet climate change denier, including our President, use this as proof of no global warming. It is true that most of us currently living (age 60 or more) will not have to deal with the consequence of not doing anything about climate change NOW. I hate to think what our children and grandchildren will have to pay in the future to survive. Human beings are remarkably short sighted as a whole unfortunately.
