本英文情报学新教材
武夷山
情报学教材很难写,故不多见。2012年,英国Facet Publishing出版了伦敦城市大学情报学教授David Bawden和同校的图书情报学项目主任Lyn Robinson博士合写的教材Introduction to Information Science(情报学导论),该书问世后获得不少好评。下面将该书目录与大家分享一下,可以看出,该书至少做到了全面(信息组织、信息技术、信息行为、信息计量学、信息传播、信息政策、信息素养等,所有主题无不囊括)和新鲜(例如,介绍了弗洛伊迪的信息哲学,而我以前见过的教材很少提及弗洛伊迪)。
David Bawden是很优秀的学者,他2001年就信息素养和数字素养概念发表的一篇综述评论已被引用500多次。估计Lyn Robinson是David Bawden带出来的博士,她与David Bawden合著过多篇论文。
