Waking up a little later today after I came from shanghai to my hometown last night for the spring festival. When I waking up in the morning, some villagers talking about something nearby our home because I can hear clearly what they are saying. In the morning of my hometown village, the air is fresh and clean.

Nowadays, many villagers in my hometown built multistory house to improve their dwelling conditions. Unlike urban areas, there is flush toilet in each apartment. But in rural areas, we need build digestion tank by ourselves. If one family built one, others will follow to build themselves.

After brushing teeth, washing face and having simple breakfast with my father.

Those days my father was digging a trench to place plastic tank. Want to reduce labor intensity of my father, I help him to dig this trench together. Have been staying in city for a long time, there is little chance to do physical work just like hold a shovel in hand to dig a trench. The work is hard, shortly afterwards, I felt very tired and needed to take a rest to smooth my breathing. 

First, we need dig sufficient depth to place this tank. But we dig too deep, when placing this tank into the trench, finding the blast-hole of this tank is not with the same horizontal line with the outlet pipe of the house. Remeasuring the depth of the trench, and we need to fill it with soil which add more quantity of work to do.

Second, the most difficult of this work is Pipe Roll. Wasting much time to install elbow pipe on the outlet of plastic pipe from the house. My father cut the PVC pipe alone with electric cutting tools. When cutting PVC pipe, generating much noise and plastic debris. It’s not easy to handle this tool to cut the exact length to assemble the output of pipe and the input of tank.

When we almost finish the assembling between the pipe and environment-friendly septic-tank, it gets later in the day. My father continued to fill this trench with more soil. After one day’s physical work with my father, I felt exhaustion. 

In the village of my hometown, many farmers doing much physical work every day to earn little money to support families living. The life in the village is not like big cities such as Guangzhou and shanghai. The life in the village is simple and even boring.
