除了Reviews of Modern Physics上这个最著名的综述，之前有个挺好的是1995年Nature上，Frank Moss的stochastic resonance and the benefits of noise，和1994年的stochastic resonance：Tutorial and update， Int. J. Bifurcation and Chaos 4(6), 1383-1397；以及1996年A Bulsara在Physics Today 上的Tuning into noise，后来出现的

2：McDonnell MD, Stochastic Resonance: From Suprathreshold Stochastic Resonance to Stochastic Signal Quantization对于超阈值随机共振的非常总结。

从2000年之后，SR的发展可以说是迅速增加，大家可以看What Is Stochastic Resonance?  Definitions,  Misconceptions, Debates, and Its Relevance to Biology，by Mark D. McDonnellDerek Abbott图一统计的从1981年到2007年每年发表SR论文数量，从<100篇到现在每年大约300篇左右。
