嘟嘟出生记

我家嘟嘟于2008-06-27 00:18出生，比预产期推迟了18分钟。下面是我当时在产房的简单记录。
June 25, 2008
8:30am water broken, no pain.
1:00pm, called 3210 and was told to go to hospital after supper.
7:30pm, walked to MSH (45 minutes), Triage. Baby heart and contraction monitoring; discharged at 9:30pm. walked back home (45 minutes).
11:00pm, went to bed. no pain, no sensible contractions.
June 26, 2008 (Due date)
1:30am, painful contractions began. cucous plug out. see red.
2:30am, could not lie down. sit in sofa till 6:30am.
7:30am, more painful. taxi to MSH.
8:45am, delivery room16, being monitored.
9:15am, Dr. Mirtorabi came and assessed. 1~2cm dilated.
10:30am, monitoring ceased. sit in chair for rest. Nurse Susan came from time to time to check baby's movement.
12:15pm, Dr. Mirtorabi and Staff Dr. Aunt came to assess. Still 2cm dilated.
1:00pm, Epidural. Indian lady Dr. Sally and other two doctors came. after 30-minute preparation, Epidural succeeded.
1:45pm, medication added (oxytocin). rest on bed, no pain.
5:30pm, Dr. Mirtorabi and Aunt came to exam. 5cm dilated.
6:30pm, urined, changed IU bag.
7:00pm, Nurse Elana came. she allowed dan drinking juice and chocolate. before that, dan did not eat anything after breakfast.
9:30pm, Dr. Mirtorabi came, 7cm dilated.
10:00pm, Elana showed how to push; told me how to help.
11:30pm, Elana, Dr. Mirtorabi and another staff doctor came. start pushing.the first two pushes were successful. tired after 4 pushes. Elana urged to push harder. after about 8 to 9 pushes, baby was born. I was asked to cut the cord. Done at 00:18am.
在剪断脐带的那一刻，我想的是，我什么时候把她嫁出去。
标志着长大的关键时刻：
脐带被剪断的那一刻，
断奶的那一天，
独自出门去玩的那一天，
上学的第一天，
没有在家睡觉的第一晚，
结婚的那一天。
十天的宝宝在我肚皮上睡着了。
现在八个月的嘟嘟
