之前投PRA，不送审。转投EPL。5月24号送了两个审稿人，第一个审稿人当天就返回了意见。第二个审稿人于6月7号返回意见，然后编辑刚刚作出决定，拒稿。

但是奇怪的是，在EPL的页面上，第二个审稿人返回审稿意见的记录消失了！只收到第一个审稿人的两句话的审稿意见。

This manuscript is based on very basic and well-known results in Fourier analysis (see Th 1-3). The following examples are rather a simple and straightforward exercise. W.r.t. physics nothing new is learned from this paper.

给EPL发信询问后，收到的回复是：

Dear Dr. Zhang,

Thank you for your message.

Indeed, a second referee has been contacted and finally sent a report.

However, once the report received and forwarded to the Co-Editor, Professor Everitt informed us that we had contacted the wrong Referee 2, a referee who was not suitable to review your manuscript.

Therefore, the second report could not be considered and was cancelled.

讲实在话，这个文章我还是比较喜欢的。我认为我们是有一定的insight的。至少我们现在对autocorrelation function的短时行为有了更深刻的认识，而这与zeno效应相关。

让人感慨，博主以前的文章比这个文章垃圾得多，但是在PRA从来没失手过。也许还是得讨论点时髦话题，那样编辑才会认为你在做前沿的问题，在推动物理学发展吧。

要不是要应付学校考核，才不会投这种封闭审稿的杂志，肯定投荷兰物理学家caux办的开放评审的scipost physics，所有审稿意见都是公开的，所有的作者回复也都是公开的。
