近日,来自Shaun S. Killen(University of Glasgow)在Evolutionary Applications发表了关于渔业引发的种群演化的观点。

关于Evolutionary Applications

Evolutionary Applications is a fully peer reviewed open access journal, impact factor 4.694, ranks at 9/49 Q1 in Evolutionary Biology. It publishes papers that utilize concepts from evolutionary biology to address biological questions of health, social and economic relevance. Papers are expected to employ evolutionary concepts or methods to make contributions to areas such as (but not limited to): medicine, agriculture, forestry, exploitation and management (fisheries and wildlife), aquaculture, conservation biology, environmental sciences (including climate change and invasion biology), microbiology, and toxicology. All taxonomic groups are covered from microbes, fungi, plants and animals. In order to better serve the community, we also now strongly encourage submissions of papers making use of modern molecular and genetic methods (population and functional genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, epigenetics, quantitative genetics, association and linkage mapping) to address important questions in any of these disciplines and in an applied evolutionary framework. Theoretical, empirical, synthesis or perspective papers are welcome.

The reasons why to publish with Evolutionary Applications

  • Impact Factor of 4.694

  • Ranked 9/49 in Evolutionary Biology

  • Fast Peer Review Process

  • Open Access journal – your paper is free for all to access

  • Early View Service - Articles are available as soon as they are ready, rather than having to wait for the next scheduled issue.

  • Referrals to the Open Access Journal "Ecology and Evolution": this journal works together with Wiley’s Open Access journal, Ecology and Evolution, to enable rapid publication of good quality research that is unable to be accepted for publication by Evolutionary Applications. Authors will be offered the option of having the paper, along with any related reviews, automatically transferred for consideration for publication by the Editor of Ecology and Evolution.

  • Online Production Tracking: this enables authors to track their article - once it has been accepted - through the production process to publication online and in print.
