讲座题目：Spatial Networks and Urban Development

摘要：An important factor in restricting access is spatial networks. The imagery of the city is one of a network. Depending on actors’ location in spatial networks, they have spatial capital. We offer a formal model. Actors’ advantage is based on their having access to certain resource that are place based, e.g., elementary school, shopping malls, parks, etc.

主讲人：Joseph Galaskiewicz

Joseph Galaskiewicz是美国亚利桑那大学政府与公共政策学院社会学教授，此前是明尼苏那大学Carlson管理学院战略与组织领域教授。主要研究方向为社会网络与非营利组织，主要成果有《社会网络分析进展：社会与行为科学中的研究》、《不确定性中的非营利组织》，并在American Sociological Review, American Journal of Sociology, Social Forces, Administrative Science Quarterly, Annual Review of Sociology, Social Science Research, NVSQ, American Behavioral Scientist, Sociological Research and Methods, Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, Management Science, Urban Affairs Quarterly, and Sociological Quarterly等期刊发表了若干学术论文。
