7月16日受中国地震局地震预测研究所邀请，博主访问该所并做了题为“石油地震勘探的过去现在和未来”的学术报告，同时向有关科技人员介绍了教育部“爱课程”网上的国家精品资源共享课，最后就共同感兴趣的地震波理论和实践问题进行了广泛的讨论，取得了很好的访问效果。
