Reading one article about the improper translation, I learnt much. Then I wrote out the method that I did translation.

I usually take the following several steps to do translation:
One, read the book or articles quickly and grasp the main idea;
Two, read the to-be-translated paragraph and look up those new words in a dictionary and make sure that I can understand the meaning of the whole paragraph;
Three, start translating and repeat the step two when in the next paragraph;
Four, check the translation sentence by sentence, especially those numbers, names;
Five, read the tranlation and revise those sentences that can't be read smoothly or are difficult to be understood by a Chinese.
Six, reread the whole translation and perfect it.
