我和刁一娜与Steven Feldstein二位博士合作的论文“The variability of the Atlantic storm track and the North Atlantic Oscillation: A link between intraseasonal and interannual variability”历时半年多终于被美国<<J. Atmos. Sci.>>杂志接受了。

   这篇论文是今年4月份完成的，我们并没有马上投出去，而是花了两个多月斟酌和推敲，直到大家感到满意了，才于6月10日投到<<J. Atmos. Sci.>>上的。在修改期间尽管Feldstein教授是第三作者，但他还提出了多达9页的修改意见，这对文章水平的提高帮助很大。

   经过一个多月的审稿，编辑Mike Wallace教授于7月23日返回了审稿意见。两个Reviewers的意见是大修改( Major revisions)。虽然两个审稿人肯定了文章的观点很新，但都希望我们还作进一步工作来支持我们自己的观点。编辑也希望我9月22日以前两个月内返回修改稿。因此暑假期间一直在修改这篇文章，加上忙于其他事情直到10月19日才将修改稿返回<<J. Atmos. Sci.>>编辑部。我的文章也从63页扩充成73页。虽然大修改的审稿意见有时候会使你感到棘手，但这些意见对你文章水平的提高帮助很大，也许包含着可以启发你下一步工作的新思想。

   经过一个多月的评审，于11月24日返回了审稿意见，两个审稿人的意见是小修改(Minor revisions).于是我作了小修改并回答了两个审稿人的问题，并于11月27日重新投回修改稿。没几天编辑于12月2日作出接受的决定。

  对于投到国外高水平期刊的审稿意见，要认真对待，不要马虎，即便慢一点也不要紧。尽管有哪怕一点希望也不要放弃。我有的文章能被接受，是通过自己同审稿人多次辩论争取得来的。只要你有理，主编也会站在你这边的。

 第一轮审稿意见：
