Really appreciate the opportunity from professor Tony studying in University of Bath--the most satisfactory university ranked in UK. Now it is time to say goodbye to the two and half years' PhD life which might be the most memorable period in my life so far. The way for PhD defence here in UK is totally different with the other places as far as I know, such countries like China, Amerca, Europeans, etc. In fact, it is closed called PhD viva, in a way of seperate room  with the defender together which are two examiners, internal and external from inside and outside of the university, respectively. Usually, the external examiner is taking the lead in the whole defence which means most of the questions will be from him or her, also the most challengable ones. Thankfully, I passed the viva after going through my thesis with proposing questions they have. I have to say honestly there were several questions or suggestions which stumped me but reminded me how to improve the writing of the great work. Eventually, I got positive judgement and be announced formally PhD viva pass. What a great experience!

Actually, I don't want to mention too much about the research work. More importantly, the life there rendered more valuable experience which will last longer in my mind than anything else. Firstly, pub culture. It is sweet to have friends sitting together, drinking and talking, pounding life and sharing funny things. Drinking in pub or bar is indespensible part of life for British people. Interestingly, each pub will have a feature serving with the self-brewing beer for customer. Actually, it is very enjoyable and relaxed to watch the World cup with beers on the side. Cheers! No wonder British people say cheers a lot to each other  as a way of expressing "you are welcome"! The second thing worth saying is about the train system, the most traditional and advanced public transportation in UK. Let's look at it seperately. The reason to say traditional is due to its first invention and innovation in the history of train development dating back to 1st and 2nd industrial revoluntion. While in terms of its advance, there is no one of other countries bearing so many connection ports which are distributed so reasonably and rationally serving the whole country. The third one I have to mention is the changable weather international people complain about second most. Yes. You will never know what gonna happen next even though it is sunshine in the last hour. Much rain or small hail subsequently drop down and people are trapped unprepared. Then next minute will be cloudy and cold with the temperature suddently decrease a lot. Is that why the local people have the habit keeping a coat along  but with no umbrella? In fact, there are so many interesting things in UK which I would like to share with more people. Time is up. One more minute to attack the British food which especially Chinese people suffer and get pain most. Fish and chips are the most traditional food in the UK fast food history. But nowadays, more and more people are taking diverse of pies made up of fruits, grain, or other sauces as the new typical British food. Who care, anyway, we cannot accept them. LOL.

I do need one more article to describe something else. The long history and splended culture of United Kindom need more time to recall and taste.
