The dissertation presents solutions ofcontrol algorithms dedicated for Grid Connected Converter (GCC) operating underunbalanced voltage conditions, especially under voltage dips. Presented controlalgorithms concern synchronization, current and power flow control and aredirectly based on the instantaneous symmetrical component theory. The intentionof usage of the theory is elimination of negative voltage component influenceappearing during unbalanced voltage dips. The dissertation presents analysis ofPolish Grid Code in terms of definition of requirements for GCC interfacingwith wind farm and the analysis of the symmetrical components theory indifferent coordinate transformations. Also the analysis of voltage dip in thepower system is given. Furthermore, the synchronization, current and power flowcontrol algorithms are presented and verified theoretically and in simulationand experimental validation.
