Teaching Teenagers with Autism to Answer Cell Phones

and Seek Assistance When Lost

对于障碍人士父母来说，孩子走失是他们尤为担心的一个问题，走时候不晓得向他人寻求帮助

对于自闭症人士，他们可能无法准确识别自己何时失踪，或者他们可能在寻求帮助时难以作出相关社交反应

父母为了避免孩子走失，会限制他们的活动，不敢让孩子独立外出进行活动，不利于培养孩子的独立性，难以融入社会生活，孩子只会愈加依赖家人

走失时打电话告知大人并说明自己的地理位置（如果有智能手机，可以拍视频，把周边建筑，店铺名称拍进视频里）

不知道自己什么时候走失了，也不晓得向他人寻求帮助（我恒哥他坐车坐到总站，找不到路回学校，他当时的反应是怎样的？有想过方法解决问题吗）

Thismay be due to a lack of training opportunities and a perception by teachers and care providers that cell phone use is not functional for this population（我觉得他们拥有一部智能手机是很有必要的，教会他们打电话，拍视频，发送视频，发送语音信息，调闹钟，使用手机导航，上网查资料等）

教会孩子使用手机后，外出的时候让孩子带上手机

没手机的情况下，随声携带一张过塑了的卡片：我走失了，我不会说话，这是我老师/父母的电话号，请帮我打电话找他们，我的名字叫xxx，我是自闭症人士。

Each trial consisted of one phone call and included five responses:

 (a) answering the cell phone when it rang, 

(b) following instructions to locate an adult, 

(c) stating an approximation of “I’m lost” (Jack and Michael) or “Help me” (Sam), 

(d) exchanging the communication card and cell phone with the naïve adult, 

and (e) waiting with the adult until being reunited with his parent/teacher.

练习的时候，两个大人带孩子外出，一个偷偷溜走，另外一个暗中观察孩子，保证孩子的安全，两分钟内孩子都不会向别人求助的话大人重新出现

会找工组人员、保安、巡警等求助

在学校周边不同的地方练习（打电话，发送语音信息，拍视频，发送视频给自己的父母/师长，如果手机没流量发不出视频，自己又不会表达怎么办，把随身携带的卡片给工组人员、保安、巡警等，让他们帮忙打电话告知大人）

进行这样的训练，孩子做对了要不要给奖励，我觉得还是不给为好，因为给了孩子可能会为了奖励玩失踪

It was noted, however, that the community adults often did not respond correctly to the participants when the participants offered their phones. They indicated confusion as to what they were supposed to do with the phones (e.g., shook their heads and said, “That’s not my phone”).（别人不一定晓得如何帮助你，或者别人不一定会愿意帮助你，继续寻找下一个的帮忙，直到得到帮助为止）

Cell phones are age-appropriate, socially acceptable, and readily portable devices that are easy to use in a wide array of community settings.

It may be helpful to teach cell phone use first (i.e., answering the phone and following instructions on the phone) at school and possibly at home.现在家里或者学校教会孩子怎样打电话，在电话里回答问题，按照电话里的指令办事）

给电话给别人别人不知道你想干嘛，如果把卡片递给别人，别人一般明白你要做什么（知道你走失了，要帮你打电话）

找谁帮助最有效？一般不会被拒绝

多去社区不同的地方溜达，熟悉周围环境
