聚合物驱提高油藏采收率模拟研究

        当储集层达到耗竭阶段时,储集层孔隙体积中仍有不同程度的剩余油饱和度,不能移动和开采。这种不期望出现的现象是由于驱替相(水)和驱油相(剩余油)之间的逆流动和(或)粘度比所致。解决这一问题的方法之一是聚合物注入,它被认为是提高采收率的最有效、最成功的方法之一。然而,聚合物驱在非均质油藏中应用取得的成功是有限的。这是因为单一注入聚合物不能有效地波及整个多孔介质。

       伊拉克科马尔科技大学的Hiwa Sidiq博士对连续注入聚合物的效果进行了研究,并与常规单一注入聚合物进行了比较。应用随机方法,利用实例场的现有井资料,建立了储层物性模型。在此基础上,再建立两个新的非均质性模型,用于研究从轻度非均质到极度非均质储层的非均质性。并利用Dykstra-Parson技术得到了各属性模型的非均质性程度,轻度、中度和极度非均质的Dykstra-Parson系数分别为0.24、0.59和0.69。研究结果表明,随着浓度的变化,连续注入聚合物是提高非均质储层岩石采收率的有效方法。

Abstract:

      As a reservoir reaches depletion stagethere will still be a varying amount of residual oil saturation in the reservoirpore volume that is too heavy to move and produced. This undesirable phenomenonoccurs due to adverse mobility and/or viscosity ratio between displacing phase(water) and displaced phase (residual oil). A solution to that is polymerinjection which has been considered as one of the most effective and successfulmethod to improve oil recovery. Moreover polymer flooding also showed limitedsuccess when applied in heterogeneous reservoir. This is because single polymerinjection cannot sweep entire porous media efficiently, therefore in thisresearch work the effectiveness of sequential polymer injection is studied andcompared with conventional single polymer injection. The reservoir propertymodel was developed from the available well data of an example field usingstochastic approach. From the base case two more property models were developedto cover the heterogeneity from slightly to very heterogeneous reservoir rock.The degree of heterogeneity was obtained for each property model usingDykstra-Parson technique. The magnitude of Dykstra-Parson coefficient forSlightly, Moderate and Very heterogeneous were 0.24, 0.59 and 0.69,respectively. Our results indicated that injecting polymers sequentially withvarying in concentrations is an effective technique for enhanced oil recoveryin heterogeneous reservoir rock.
