樱花在中日韩都有悠久的生长史，据说发现了有百万年历史的樱花化石，

樱花起源已无从考证。其品种多达150个。常见的观赏樱花已经不是野生樱花，

主要是日本近代园艺杂交培育的衍生品种。

一朵樱花从开放到凋谢大约为3-7天，整棵樱树从开花到全谢大约16天左右。

它经历短暂的灿烂后凋谢在最美的一刻，而且是一夜之间满山的樱花全部凋零，

古代用于比喻武士的壮烈。
