Internet of things----one of the top 10 predicted technology （罗汉江）
Cisco chief futurist Dave Evans said that the Internet of Things is one of the fundamental technologies will really change and influence how people work, play and learn in the next decade.
According to Evans, "The World Wide Web has arguably gone through four distinct changes in its nearly 20-year history, but the Internet has remained fundamentally the same since the early days. Technologies have changed, standards have come and gone, but the Internet really hasn’t evolved at its base level since the days when it was used in the academia and government".
The Internet of things also called WuLianWang (物联网) in Chinese which means a new internet structure with more sensors
that will help us creating a more smarter world around us. It is also featured with more smart sensors which make the internet more proactive and less reactive.
"The world has hit a point where there are more devices connecting to the Internet than people doing so". And those sensors generate data automatically without our interference which make the real-time monitoring of things a reality in our life.
Dave Evans also said that our internet is becoming more mobile than before because we use more mobile sets now with internet connection ability such as wifi or 3G.
