看你的DNA,就知道你能活多久

科学家们说,通过观察他们的DNA,他们可以预测一个人的预期寿命。该小组分析了影响寿命的遗传变异的综合效应,以产生一个评分系统。他们说,在人口前10%中得分的人可能比得分最低的10%的人长寿5年。研究人员说,研究结果还提供了对疾病和衰老相关生物学机制的新见解。

爱丁堡大学亚瑟研究所的专家研究了50多万人的基因数据,以及他们父母的寿命记录。人类基因组的12个区域被确定为对寿命有重大影响,包括5个以前没有报道过的位点。对整体寿命影响最大的DNA位点是那些以前与致命疾病有关的位点,包括心脏病和吸烟相关疾病。
