生命后期的高血压可能对大脑造成伤害

在几十年前，数百名修女和牧师做出了一个非凡的决定：他们同意将自己的大脑捐给科学，希望能帮助解决阿尔茨海默病和其他疾病的奥秘。现在，利用他们的礼物的研究提供了一些线索。它揭示了生命后期的高血压可能对大脑造成伤害。研究人员星期三报道，近1300名老年人，包括大约640名神职人员的尸体解剖发现，高血压患者大脑中阿尔茨海默氏症的症状明显多于血压正常的人。这项研究并没有证明因果关系，而且还没有提供一个比较。
