伯纳德·罗素的这句话大意是科学界中的成功者都是站在巨人的肩膀上的，一个超级天才发明一种方法，一千个能力较次者应用它。在艺术界，没有天赋是不行的，但科学界即使能力中庸者也能取得杰出的科学成就。

看看周边，科学界充斥着很多能力或智力平平者，但人家照样混得风生水起，关键是幸运和努力。有幸跟对了导师，进入一个“朝阳”领域，再加上个人的努力，就不愁不能成功了。

当然，我的话不一定对。

看看费曼，他说他成功也不是因为他聪明。成功的关键是有正确的科研态度，对自然界实在的关注，提出正确的问题，愿意尝试（和抛弃）非常轨的答案，对假大空有鉴别--- ---
